is a film curator, exhibitor, researcher and author. Curator of the Polish Experimental Film Competition at the Short Waves Film Festival. Michał works at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, a leading art institution in Poland, where he is in charge of the film programme, and runs an arthouse cinema with a varied repertoire. He has been a member of international juries (Venice, Berlin, Cannes, Oberhausen). His most recent projects relate to non-human perspectives in film. He is a grantee of the Culture and Animals Foundation and is working on a visual research-based film project on the animal gaze in film. Michał is a member of the Essay Film Studio and Film School in Łódź.
