European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films (ESFUF): guidelines review

Manon Duverger will present the guidelines of the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films. The fund is financed by 16 film centres or ministries of culture from 13 European countries, together with the European Film Agency Directors’ Association. It aims to support the development and completion of Ukrainian feature films intended for first release in cinemas. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Manon Duverger
holds a master's degree in audiovisual law from the Sorbonne University. She has been working at the CNC's Directorate of European and International Affairs since 2017, and she has overseen several co-production support programmes since then. Since its launch in 2023, she has been in charge of the European Solidarity Fund for Ukrainian Films.

Julia Sinkevych
is a film producer, a co-founder of the Ukrainian Film Academy and a member of European Film Academy. From 2010 to 2020 she worked as the general producer of the Odesa International Film Festival, managing festival organisation, programming and curation. Previously Julia worked for the distribution and production company Arthouse Traffic as its head of international projects and promotion. Her key works as a film producer include Close Relations by Vitaliy Mansky (2016) and Heatsingers (2019) by Nadia Parfan, Lucky Girl by Marysia Mikitiuk (in postproduction), and Lesya by Nana Janelidze (in pre-production).
