Daria Zhuravel was born in Odesa and has been involved in theatre and music since childhood. In 2018 she entered the acting course at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television in the acting workshop of Dmytro Bogomazov. She has worked as an actress in theatre and film.
With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she began to develop as a film director, participating in various international educational programs for aspiring filmmakers (Talents nest, Free stage, Caucasus Cinema).
Currently based in Kyiv, she is working on a fiction short film project as well as a debut documentary feature about youth during the war, together with the emerging film producer Anastasia Zakhilko.Selected Filmography
