Meet the Student Jury of this year's Docudays UA

We are pleased to announce the results of the open selection and introduce you to the members of the Docudays UA-2024 student jury! This year, they will choose their favourite film in the festival's competition programmes.


Eva Zurian 

Eva Zurian is studying at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, specialising in Production. Since 2021, she has been working in film distribution. In 2022, she created MriyaIFF in Brussels and works as a programme director. In 2023, she joined the team of the Ivano-Frankivsk ISFF 4:3 as a coordinator of volunteer and guest services, and later became a producer of the film festival. Currently, she is producing Dan Prykhodkoʼs documentary feature lightland about the lives of people before the full-scale invasion in the grey zone.


Ann Mikheienko

Ann Mikheienko is a student of the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, specialising in film and TV drama. She works mainly as an editing director, and one of her latest projects is a series of interviews with witnesses of the Russian air strike on the Mariupol Drama Theatre (A City Within a Building) by the Centre for Spatial Technologies. As a director, she has made her own short fiction film, Where to Next («Куди далі?»), which is currently in post-production. 


Polina Piddubna

Filmmaker, artist and activist. Born and raised in Kharkiv, she now lives in Berlin. From 2017 to 2019, she was a student at the animation directing course at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, and since 2019, she has been studying at the animation department of the Konrad Wolf Film University of Babelsberg in Potsdam. In addition to filmmaking, Polina organises social and educational projects, curates festivals, and conducts artistic research on decolonial topics. Currently, she is working on the animated documentary My Grandmother is a Skydive («Моя бабуся парашутистка»).
