This year, DOCU/SHORT will present 15 films from 14 countries around the world in the genres of documentary animation, portrait films, hybrid forms, and creative documentaries. We are sharing information about the competing films and encouraging you to take on a festival challenge: see them all!
“I have a special fondness for our short film competition because it’s full of unique, boundless energy. We’ve gathered films by authors who aren’t afraid to experiment, challenge themselves, and tackle complex topics with humour. It’s worth noting that this year’s competition includes two Ukrainian films: one by the already well-known director Antonio Lukich, and another by debut filmmaker Daria Penkova. Don’t miss your cinephile delight. This is where it’s hiding,” comments Darya Averchenko, Director of the Communications Department at Docudays UA and member of the Selection Committee.
