When the full-scale invasion began, the actors of the Kharkiv Puppet Theatre did not leave the city. They gathered in its building to survive — and then began saving others. Under shelling, they delivered humanitarian aid, performed for children in the metro, and later some joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In a frontline city, art became an act of resistance.
