We are opening submissions for films to the Non-Competitive Programme: UKRAINE WAR ARCHIVE/FRAGMENTS OF RESISTANCE at the 23rd Docudays UA International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.
Submission deadline: 10 April 2026
We are seeking creative documentary films made by active military personnel, communications units of military formations, as well as films about units or individual operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The films will be screened as part of the festival and accompanied by discussions with the filmmakers, protagonists, and festival audiences.
We aim to provide a meaningful platform for stories about Ukrainians’ resistance to Russian military aggression and the people who have become heroes of this resistance, to initiate public discussions and media coverage, and to reduce the distance between our defenders and audiences.
Completed films of any length, as well as works currently in the editing stage, are eligible for consideration. Submitted works must not have been previously screened in Ukraine or published on digital platforms.
