A group of acting students is forced to relocate to Western Ukraine at the start of the war. They dream of becoming actors, but their graduation performance is based on a play by Chekhov. Some refuse to perform, risking their graduation. Why, out of thousands of plays, did they choose a Russian one?

A group of drama university students is forced to relocate to Western Ukraine at the outbreak of the war, trying to continue their studies. Young and ambitious, they dream of becoming professional actors. But their graduation performance, based on The Bear by Anton Chekhov, which they had been preparing before the full-scale invasion, stands in their way. They believe that they know everything about each other, but the challenge they face reveals unexpected behaviour. Some refuse to take part, sparking conflict. Together, they search for a solution, trying to understand why, out of thousands of plays, they chose one from a culture that now "saves" them with bombs.
