In Belgium, a country untouched by the realities of war, a Ukrainian film director delves into the stories of those who often remain in the shadows of media headlinesthe experiences of women during warand transforms them into a play. The actresses chosen for the play have no personal connection to war. The camera captures the entire process, from rehearsals to deeply personal conversations. It also follows the actresses’ process of entering and leaving their characters, and explores how preparing for the play affects their private lives. Do they carry the emotional weight of their roles outside the studio?
