Having discovered a hidden photo archive of a famous Soviet cinematographer, his grandson tries now to save memories before they’ve all disappeared.

Leonid Burlaka is a famous Soviet cinematographer. He worked at the Odesa Film Studio since the 1960s and shot many iconic films, such as The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed. When he suddenly gets diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, his grandson—the young Ukrainian filmmaker Ihor Ivanko—finds his grandpa’s personal and unpublished works in their summerhouse. This discovery is the starting point of a quest to recover bits of memory before they’ve all disappeared.
