Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Centre is the biggest Ukrainian film archive of feature, documentary, and animated films, established in 1994. Its extensive film collection starts from 1909 and includes about 7,000 titles and related exhibits, texts, documents, photos, notes etc. It is a state enterprise that collects, preserves and researches a unique collection of Ukrainian film art, and at the same time is an open cultural and artistic cluster. Dovzhenko Centre is the de facto Ukrainian state cinematheque and the only Ukrainian member of the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF).
