Announcing the results of the open call for Berlinale accreditation 2026

05 December 2025

The selection committee of the Docudays NGO has processed 22 applications from documentary film professionals for the EFM Market Badge accreditation at the 76th Berlinale and is ready to announce the names of four winners.

Our goal was to select the most motivated documentary film professionals whose professional work will be significantly impacted by their participation in the 76th Berlinale.

The members of the Selection Committee are:

  • Darya Averchenko, director of the Communications Department, member of the Selection Council

  • Darya Bassel, director of the DOCU/PRO industry platform

  • Roman Bondarchuk, art director, member of the Selection Council

  • Yuliia Kovalenko, programme director, member of the Selection Council

  • Gennady Kofman, member of the board of the Docudays NGO, member of the Selection Council

  • Olga Sydorushkina, programmer

The winners of the selection, who will receive the EFM Market Badge festival accreditation for free, are:

  • Aliona Kachkan, producer (As Far As Possible; in development Missing in Action)
  • Zlata Yefimenko, producer (Family Album, On Equals, I Want to Go Home; in development Searching for Mozart Jr., Why Do You Do That?)
  • Snizhana Gusarevych, director (Not Alone, Stars on the Earth, Flowers on Marsovo)

  • Kateryna Ptashka, producer (in development All F*cked Up; line producer You Know It’s Going To Be About War)

Accreditation provides access to the European Film Market events, as well as industry events. We believe that this opportunity will become an effective tool for Ukrainian filmmakers to develop their own projects and our common cultural diplomacy.
