Today, Bruno Schultz’s short stories have been translated into more than forty languages. And his mythical mesmerizing prose inspires filmmakers, writers, stage directors. This film is about a small town in Galicia. And about a man who lived in that small town.

The future film is about a small town in Galicia. And about a man who lived in that small town. The town was founded in the 14th century. They mined salt there. They still do. Several centuries later, it was populated by the Poles, Ukrainians and Jews. A town and a half, they used to say. Half of the town were Poles, half were Ukrainians, and the third half were Jews. One of these Jews was a literary genius. His name was Bruno Schultz. And the name of the town is Drohobych.
