The DOCU/PRO industry platform was created to promote Ukrainian documentary films, support the Ukrainian film community, and establish links with international documentary experts.

Over the years, DOCU/PRO has hosted various educational and production projects, such as The Guardian Goes to Ukraine, DocWorks UA/UK, WARSCAPE, The Young About Ukraine, CIVIL PITCH: Films of Civil Engagement, CIVIL PITCH 2.0, FILMBOOST, and Ukrainian Doc Preview. Renowned Ukrainian directors and producers such as Alisa Kovalenko, Alina Horlova, Maksym Nakonechnyi, Olha Zhurba, Yuliiya Hontaruk, Olha Beskhmelnytsina, Liuba Knorozok, Oleksiy Radynskyi, Oleksandra Kravchenko, and many others have presented their projects at DOCU/PRO.


The DOCU/PRO 2026 INDUSTRY EVENT PROGRAM WILL TAKE PLACE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE 23rd DOCUDAYS UA FROM JUNE 6 TO 11, 2026:


This year, DOCU/PRO will continue its series of industry events focused on topics relevant to Ukrainian documentary filmmakers. Holders of Industry Accreditation can expect masterclasses on co-production, financial management of projects, working on funding applications, organising promotional campaigns, as well as working with documentary film protagonists, and much more from international and Ukrainian professionals. The detailed programme will be published gradually from April to May.

Also the third RAW DOC showcase will be designed for filmmakers who work on rough cuts and wish to screen their work-in-progress to international industry experts for professional feedback. During closed screenings, participants will have the opportunity to network with potential partners, including representatives of European public broadcasters, sales agents, and film festivals.
