DISCOUNTS

Pensioners, Armed Forces members, combat veterans, and war veterans can get a free ticket for the screenings at Zhovten Cinema at the festival ticket office after presenting an appropriate ID. You can get only one ticket per screening. It is impossible to get tickets for simultaneous screenings. You can receive your ticket at the ticket office a day before or on the day of the screening.

Students, schoolchildren and internally displaced persons can receive a 50% discount when purchasing tickets.

The discount ticket is valid at the entrance to the auditorium if you show an appropriate ID to the controller.

FESTIVAL PASSES

Cinephiles can get a festival pass, which allows you to attend more screenings and save money.

This year, we offer three types of festival passes: Classic, Student and Morning. The classic pass is valid from 6 to 13 June at Zhovten Cinema and KINO42, while the morning pass allows you to book tickets for film screenings that start no later than 4:30 p.m. at Zhovten Cinema from 7 to 13 June.

From 30 April:
Classic pass: UAH 800.
Student pass: UAH 500.
Morning pass: UAH 400.

From 12 May until 29 May:
Classic pass: UAH 1000.
Student pass: UAH 700.
Morning pass: UAH 500.

From 30 May:
Classic pass: UAH 1200.
Student pass: UAH 900.
Morning pass: UAH 600.

To purchase a pass, provide your given name, surname, email, and phone number. If the payment is successful, you will receive an email with the necessary information and your certificate. The certificate will not display your name.

On 28 May, you will receive a PDF-badge in your email. For environmental reasons, you can refuse to have your paper badge printed while ordering a pass. An electronic badge grants you all the privileges of the paper one. You can choose to have a paper one as a redundant electronic one, as a souvenir, or in case your phone does not support files in PDF format.

If you are a student at school or university, please indicate your student ID number. You will also have to present your student ID when you collect your pass. Internally displaced persons who are studying and do not have such a document can indicate their IDP certificate number.

The pass allows you to:

  • book up to 5 tickets simultaneously online from 30 May;
  • book one ticket per screening;
  • access events at Zhovten Cinema and KINO42 from 7 to 13 June;
  • book tickets for the Opening Ceremony held on 6 June if there are seats available;
  • use ‘happy minutes’ if you did not book a ticket in advance.
  • use your electronic pass in PDF format if you lose your paper badge.
If you wish to book the next ticket after already having booked 5 tickets, you must use one of the bookings or revoke one of them by following the link.

The morning pass allows you to take advantage of all the festival pass benefits except for the possibility to book tickets at KINO42. However, you cannot book tickets for the Opening Ceremony, using the morning pass.

Entrance to the auditorium is granted according to the instructions of the controller after the start of the screening on a first-come-first-served basis.

4. Pass holders who are late can also try to use ‘happy minutes’ and join the queue. If you are more than ten minutes late, we cannot guarantee the availability of free seats in the audience.

6. In the event of an air raid and postponement of sessions, all aforementioned rules apply, at the discretion of the organizers.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF AN AIR RAID WARNING

In the event of an air raid warning, the screening will be interrupted, and we will ask you to leave the hall and go to the nearest shelter: either directly in the Zhovten Cinema (designed for 70 places), or to the nearest metro station, Kontraktova Ploshcha. Our volunteers will help you find your way to a safe place.

10 minutes after the end of the air raid siren, we will either resume the screenings according to the  schedule or inform you about changes to the schedule via our Telegram channel or other social media. All tickets and passes will remain valid. If it is impossible to continue the screening or change the screening schedule, the audience will be informed about the options for exchanging and returning tickets at the information desk or online.
