Strategies for Ukrainian Documentary Cinema

Duration
90’

The Documentary Film Association of Ukraine (DFAU) brings together key players in the film industry for a strategic conversation on the future and development of documentary filmmaking.

Over the past year, the Association has united more than 70 industry professionals — from established filmmakers to representatives of a new generation of directors, producers, cinematographers, and other practitioners.

With advocacy as its core priority, the Association initiates direct dialogue between the documentary community and its strategic partners — institutions, funds, and platforms. During the event, DFAU members will present the results of their research on the needs of documentary filmmakers, using the real challenges they face as a foundation for shared solutions and long-term strategies.
