The world is becoming increasingly accustomed to living in a state of constant instability. The basic structures on which the global order used to rest — human rights, democracy, the rule of law — have proved far more fragile and today require not only declarations, but protection. Wars, political crises — all of this is gradually becoming the new normal. But do we truly understand the threats we are facing?
Which risks remain less visible, yet no less destructive? How is the sense of security changing at the level of the individual and society? What happens when danger becomes part of everyday life, as seen in the example of Ukraine? And what can this experience offer the world — and is the world ready to accept it?
