A seemingly ordinary Belgian family navigates the quiet weight of daily life, where silence speaks louder than words. As home videos and shared routines intertwine, subtle cracks in their world reveal a presence that refuses to fade, blurring the line between memory and reality in a tender reflection on love and lingering grief.
Angeline Teh is a Malaysian creative documentary filmmaker based in Paris. Her work explores memory, family histories, and the quiet emotional landscapes of everyday life. Her debut short Reading You won Best Student Documentary at the Tirana International Film Festival and competed at the Singapore and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
She continues developing the story into a feature, that explores the intergenerational trauma within her family history through her mother’s diaries and letters.
In 2021, she received a full scholarship and graduated with Magna cum Laude in 2023 from DocNomads Joint Masters Degree programme in Europe
