An inclusive film-event: online and offline

How to make a cultural event inclusive? How to make cinema accessible for visually and hearing impaired both online and offline? Co-founders of the Accessible Cinema initiative and Community organization Fight for Right, Viktoriya Luchka and Yulia Sachuk, will tell about the basic steps, mobile apps and the latest technologies for creating inclusive film events.


Viktoriya Luchka is a graduate of the master's programme of Lviv Business School (LvBS) of UCU MSc in Innovations and Entrepreneurship. Victoria is the director of the Community organization Fight for Right and co-founder of the Accessible Cinema initiative. She entered the Top 30 under 30 KyivPost list in 2019 for fighting for accessible cinemas across Ukraine. She is also the organizer of tandem bike riding I see! I can! I will!. She studied human rights at Utica College (U.S.). Co-founder of the programme Ukrainian Youth Delegate to the UN.


Yulia Sachuk has a Master's degree in International Relations, she is also a coordinator of the Community organization of people with disabilities Fight for Right, expert on disability and rights of people with disabilities, human rights activist. Yulia is the author of initiatives for strengthening respect for rights of people with disabilities in Ukraine, co-founder of the Accessible Cinema initiative and co-sponsor of the online course Protecting the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
