Vulnerable and Fearless: DOCU/WORLD International Competition

Holding our breath, we finally announce the DOCU/WORLD International Competition. Ten films are going to compete. These documentaries explore solitude, complex family stories, and surrealistic reality as well as the fight with own demons, corruption, and everyday life captured by war.


The Programme Director of Docudays UA, Viktoria Leshchenko comments, “This year, while selecting 10 competitors, our team has watched 937 films. Including various stages of selection, this team in sum amounted to 14 people. Our debates were hot and continuous, yet as result, we came up with the program of broad geography, thematic diversity, and world premieres.”



This year, the DOCU/WORLD International Competition program consists of:

All the films from the DOCU/WORLD Programme will be available to watch in the DOCUSPACE online cinema.
